MaxMoldable® 2300

MaxMoldable 2300 is a multipurpose product manufactured from a blend of alumina-silica fibers and binders. MaxMoldable is a tacky, puttylike material that adheres to ceramic wools, refractory material and steel, and is used to prevent heat loss caused by the deterioration of existing linings.

MaxMoldable-2300_AL

MaxMoldable® 2300 AL

MaxMoldable 2300 AL offers the same advantages as MaxMoldable 2300 but is a product recommended for molten metal contact applications in aluminum and other non-ferrous industries. It is ideal for lining aluminum transfer troughs and ladles.

MaxPumpable® 2300

MaxPumpable 2300 is a multipurpose form of ceramic fiber dispersed in a sticky mix. It is fibrous in nature, with excellent insulation properties, and is lightweight and easy to install. This pumpable mix is characterized by excellent wet adhesion to steel and refractories, as well as to other ceramic fiber products.

MaxRigidizer 2300

MaxRigidizer 2300 is a solution that after drying will harden the surface of the product to make it more resistant to high velocity gases. MaxRigidizer can be used for applications with high velocity gases or direct flame impingement. Can be applied to the surfaces of ceramic fiber blankets, modules or other insulation for high temperatures, using a brush or by spraying. It is normally applied after the ceramic fiber is installed.

MaxSealCoat 2600

MaxSealCoat 2600 is a tacky, putty-like material that can be used to repair hot face module linings for temperatures that exceed 2400°F. This product can be applied into refractory joints and cracks as a seal or for hot spot repair.

MaxModuleCoat-2600

MaxModuleCoat 2600

MaxModuleCoat 2600 is a product that can be used to repair fiber furnace linings featuring modules or blankets. This is a tacky, putty-like material that can be used at high temperatures with very low shrinkage. This product is ideal for filling shrinkage cracks in modules or to patch blanket linings. The product can be applied to the furnace lining with a hand trowel or with a pneumatic pump.

MaxPlate 2700

MaxPlate 2700 is a durable high temperature surface coating used to protect underlying ceramic fiber modules, castables and refractory brick. MaxPlate 2700 forms a strong chemically bonded barrier at 1600°F (870°C) that is highly resistant to flame impingement, chemical attack and abrasion.

MaxCement 2300

MaxCement 2300 is a high purity adhesive designed to be used to stick fiber materials to themselves, to other refractory or insulating materials, and to some metals. The cements have the consistency of thick cream and can be applied by brushing or trowelling. They can be thinned with water and can then be used to coat a wide range of refractory materials. On drying, they form a hard, abrasion resistant skin.
