Low Biopersistence Fiber Blankets

SuperMag 2200 blankets are made from long-strand spun, fine low bio-persistence (LBP) fibers with lower shot content forming a flexible needled product with high strength and superior thermal properties at temperatures up to 2200°F (1200°C).

The strong needling of SuperMag 2200 blankets results in a completely inorganic, binder-free product that produces no smoke/outgassing.

SuperMag 2200 is considered a cost-effective alternative to Refractory Ceramic Fiber (RCF) products for applications up to 2200°F (1200°C) and is available in a range of thicknesses and densities.
