NUTEC is looking for a self-motivated aggressive individual to join our Regional Sales Team for the Ohio Valley territory. This is a remote position and candidates are preferred to be in Ohio or Indiana, but based on experience, other areas could apply. NUTEC is a manufacturer of high temperature insulation fibers for thermal applications and solutions. Our product services several industrial segments including the Petrochemical, Steel, Appliance, Fire Protection, and the Metals industries.

Position Summary

Responsible for maintaining / increasing sales with existing and new accounts within the assigned region. Responsible for securing and maintaining distribution of products and maintaining effective agreements. Proactively works with division management and related support departments to ensure customer service needs are met or exceeded. Reports to Regional Sales Manager.


  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships with customers and distributor accounts while meeting sales and margin objectives.
  • Manage distribution channel partners in major markets to grow market share.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of NUTEC's products, applications, features, advantages, and benefits.
  • Obtain specifications and approvals at engineering firms, OEM’s, and distributors within the region to develop increased sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitors in the marketplace and provide competitive reports on a regular basis.
  • Inform management of any changes that would affect NUTEC’s market share. Aid in the development and implementation of appropriate response strategies.
  • Provide product training at the distributor and customer levels. Motivates and provides sales direction to distribution partners.

Position Criteria

  • Minimum of 2- 3 years Sales Experience required.
  • Experience with working with Distribution partners
  • Technical or Engineering Degree (preferred) with industrial sales experience
  • Experience in the low or high temperature insulation markets is a plus.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel overnight 50-60% of the month.
  • Ability to manage a geographic territory.
  • Capable of moving up to Sales Management
