MaxShield® SMG

Passive Fire Protection Low Biopersistent Fiber Blankets

MaxShield SMG blankets are made from long strand spun, fine low biopersistent (LBP) fibers with low shot content forming a flexible needled product with high strength and superior thermal properties at temperatures up to 2200°F (1200°C). The strong needling of MaxShield SMG blankets results in a completely inorganic, binder-free product that produces no smoke/outgassing.

MaxShield SMG is used in a variety of passive fire protection applications.
